Most recently, Alan sang in the choir on every song on the new Neil Young CD, Living With War. Alan also played trumpet on the T.S.O.L. CD, Disappear and toured Germany after recording lead and backing vocals with the German band, Hall of Fame.
Alan has won various awards for his music including, most recently, "Best Songwriter" at the 2005 All Access Magazine Music Awards. Alan has also just been nominated for the 2006 L.A. Music Awards as "Best Male Singer / Songwriter of the Year".
Alan released his first solo album in 2005. The self-titled EP is critically acclaimed and is receiving airplay worldwide. 2007 brings us his new EP, FOUR MORE and his third CD (12 new songs) will be released in mid 2007.
The production fuses rock instruments with classical and bluegrass instruments, and readily shows admirable influences from the 60s and 70s while still sounding very modern and valid.
Besides writing and recording songs, Alan has spent the past year touring. He is currently playing solo acoustic as well as full band shows. Alans live performances showcase his wide range and depth, from sweet falsettos to deeply emotional power vocals. As well as regularly playing shows in Los Angeles, Alan's touring schedule brought him through seven other states in 2005 and extensive touring is being planned for the rest of 2006 and well into 2007.
