Recorded live over three days in an abandoned Masonic Temple, Destiny & Dishonor is a raw, sawed-off collection of honest music packed with off-kilter images and rhythms. Like an unapologetic 60s garage band mixing folk/country with indie/punk sans irony; this record brims with jangle, raunch and off-key majesty.

Donerail started as an excuse for jP (guitar, vocals) and Dan Niska (bass) to get drunk and play Uncle Tupelo covers.
Eventually, playing the same four Uncle Tupelo covers of covers got boring enough that they started writing songs. Playing them badly at bad bars got boring enough that they took a while to woodshed and write more songs.
After enduring several lineup changes, Donerail is now jP, Dan, Jake Pettit (guitar, vocals) and Duncan John (drums). They live in Portland where they hold down jobs, play in progressively better bars and continue to push their uniquely raw and honest form of rock and roll.
