Bio / Background
I write cool classical music. I work with music in a way which mixes my classical training with pop/rock culture creating a vibrant and emotional music. My appeal is focused on a generation that is tired of listening to mainstream and is looking for a more sophisticated and fresh instrumental music. I have performed in a variety of venues from Coffee Houses to Carnegie Hall.
In 2004, High Mountain Records released my solo album Days of the Year. In this CD, I tied a collection of powerful piano solos together by use of a repeated haunting theme much like in classical music's "Pictures at an Exhibition." However, “Days of the Year" is a collection of musical commentaries to personal emotional days in my year and life. There is a piece written when my mom died. There is a piece written which summed up a gutting, unsuccessful relationship; as well as a piece written for the hope in a new relationship.
