Adam Weinberg’s sound lies somewhere between the market places of the Middle East, and the hill tops of America’s Midwest. Once described as, “Leo Kottke writing with John Zorn and producing with Brian Eno,” Adam creates an emotionally uplifting and contemplative world with nothing more than his guitar. “On the Seventh Year” is a heartfelt and powerful expression of Jewish-roots themes approached with true modern invention, as subtle electronic swells-and-swoops emerge from within to tickle your subconscious. During the past year, Adam has brought his unique approach to finger-style guitar playing on stage with Matisyahu and with Brazilian percussion hero Cyro Baptista. Ultimately, “On the Seventh Year” is the story of a traveler making his way from the heartland of America to the back alley streets of Jerusalem’s Old City...come along for the journey.
