There are at least 2 artists called Cosmics. (1.) Daniele Liverani's new project COSMICS mark their debut with the instrumental concept album "THE COSMIC YEAR".The album,a collection of 10 tracks within a melodic and progressive metal setting are based around the keyboard wizardry of Daniele Liverani(TWINSPIRITS,GENIUS,KHYMERA),along with special guest drummer Virgil Donati(STEVE VAI,PLANET X,RING OF FIRE),young guitar hotshot Tommy Ermolli(TWINSPIRITS,KHYMERA)and respected bassist Rufus Philpot(PLANET X)show that progressive music can be both accessible and intelligently written.

Each track contains various movements given a sonic reference to specific moments in the evolution of the universe which maintain both a progressive outlook yet work cohesively as a sonic unit and as single entities.Daniele Liverani showcases immense skill in this his most complex,visionary and progressive work to date. Guitarist Tommy Ermolli's performance will only go to further the reputation this 20 year old has earned so far.This musical vision is extended further with the stunning rhythm section interaction between Rufus Philpot and Virgil Donati that the listener will have come to expect from their work together in PLANET X.

"The Cosmic Year",released in 2008,is an instrumental tour-de-force influenced by the evolution of the universe from big bang to present day.The concept taken from concept idea,taken from Carl Sagan ?The Dragons of Eden? book is based on the theory of 15.000.000.000 years of universe' evolution compared to one solar year, approximately 365 days, 8760 hours, 31.536.000 seconds...

(1.) CMC Also known as Cosmics is a duo consisting young Bengali rappers Rupee-G (Ahad Ali) and Foyboii (Foysol Rahman). Fans of rap music from young age, these rappers are the youngest duos rapping in Bangla. Growing up surrounded by music, Rupee (the founder) absorbed everything he heard and began writing his own songs at 14. Rupee was 15 when he recorded a ?demo album? with a friend name Anik; this Album captivated mix of their own beats produced by dj Harry as well as samples of popular beats. Although, the release of the demo album "Jiboner Kotha" didn't made quite a splash in the hip hop culture, these young souls however focus remained on their music. Soon after the release of the demo Album, Anik resigned the group and Foyboii , a friend of Rupee-G who was very much interested in his music joined CMC. Slowly as Rupee-G and Foyboii found each other's idea similar and unique, they began working on a full length album delivering songs of depth, conflicts of Bangladesh and explicit desire references. These young Rappers are being praised both for their nasal-voice rapping style and the bluntly controversial nature of their lyrics. CMC officially changed its name from Crazy Mastan Chele to Cosmics. Their debut album ?Bapre bap? will be released on the ramadan eid of 2008. ?Bapre bap? features Rony, a male singer contributed greatly in this album and was produced by the well known "double R"(Rajib Rahman) . Critics, especially young rap fans are craving great reviews of the songs from this album, as the Cosmics are looking forward to doing better in their next album.
