Conil
Genre:
Pop/Rock

History of the Best and Worst of Us is the second album from idiosyncratic London singer-songwriter-producer Conil, and is a step away from the raw junkyard roots of his 2007 debut, Strange Part of the Country. Previously his screaming blues voice and ?in the washing machine' percussion made for Tom Waits comparisons. All that has been replaced by rich vocals, mellow strings and 70s drums making him more like Cat Stevens produced by Beck or Lodger era Bowie.
