Compact Deity

Compact Deity is a band from Detroit formed by Tarik Al-Kadhim in 1997. The music is a hybrid of metal, gothic, industrial and post punk but includes a myriad of other influences including Arabic music, electronic, classic rock, and punk. Compact Deity's first full length album 'Trancemantra' was released in July 2008.
