Claus Rydskov is a Danish singer songwriter born in Copenhagen, currently living in Sweden. In 2010 the new album from Claus 'If this is a man' is released. All eleven songs were recorded in Varispeed Studios, a vintage studio in the Swedish countryside, in 2008 by engineer/ producer John Wood (UK). John Wood is known for his work with music legend Nick Drake, and also includes collaborations amongst others John Cale, Beth Orton, Cat Stevens, Loudon Wainwright III.

Rydskov began his recording career with an untitled 4-track EP-CD (1994). Ten years after he released "Dark room white nights" (2004) - with guest artist Brendan Power (Sting, Van Morrison), co-working with John Wood (formerly known for his work with Nick Drake, John Martyn, Cat Stevens, Sandy Denny, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Loudon Wainwright a.o.).
