Christian Nesmith

Christian Duval Nesmith is the son of ex-Monkee Michael Nesmith and Phyllis Nesmith. Born January 31th, 1964, he grew up in LA with his parents surrounded by music. Starting with piano he went on to master a variety of other instruments that culminated with him being heavily involved in various musical scenes. He played guitar on his father's album The Garden. In 2006 he released his first solo album, An Axe to Grind, though he has played on many other albums with various bands, collaborating on occassion with his daughter Chyna Dale.

He currently is musical director for the LA revival of Hair, plays guitar in the band Circe Link and in Vox Lumiere which he tours with.
