Character Nine

Drawing from influences such as Jeff Buckley, I Mother Earth, Nuno Bettencourt, and Rush, Character Nine combines a careful attention to melody, thoughtful lyrics, and thick body-rocking riffs to create a refreshingly unique Alternative sound. Performing in NYC over the last year has earned the band a solid base of loyal fans and strong relationships with bookers from a number of clubs including The Knitting Factory, Kenny's Castaways, and their current HQ, Arlene's Grocery.

In July 2007 C9 independently released their debut EP, "The Sound," which is available through their website and the iTunes Music Store.
