BRUCE DUDLEY is a versatile jazz pianist, who plays contemporary music that is deeply rooted in the rich tradition of jazz piano. His music is hard swinging, lyrical, and fresh, capturing the very essence of jazz. Dudley teaches at Belmont and Vanderbilt Universities in Nashville, Tennessee. He performs frequently with his wife, jazz vocalist, Sandra Dudley as well as with a host of creative jazz musicians throughout the United States.

He has performed with Randy Brecker, Eric Alexander, Tim Hagens, Kenny Werner, Scott Robinson, Jim McNeely, Rahsaan and Roland Barber, the Charles Mingus repertory group of Nashville, and jazz bassoonist Paul Hanson. His own groups have consisted of trio, quintet, and a septet of string quartet plus piano, bass, and drums.
