Brian Walker picked up the guitar for the first time in December 2004 and released his debut album sometime in 2006. Here's how it all happened... Originally from Philadelphia, Brian had traveled the world from 1994-2000. Along the way, he met Lance Barber, an actor who encouraged Brian to settle in Chicago and to begin a career in acting and performing. Brian moved to Chicago into Lance's apartment building and eventually was picked up by Lance's agent.

Brian moved to Chicago into Lance's apartment building and eventually was picked up by Lance's agent. He then waited for a few years hoping for auditions. Brian said, "During this period, I became friendly with a musician called Charlie King. He told me that I could really sing and brought me my first guitar. I instantly became addicted. Soon I realized that creating music and performing live are my true passions in life." Brian quickly moved forward and honed his craft. In 2005 Brian financed and recorded a 4 song demo in the studio, writing and performing all of his own material.
One thing led to another and Brian has become a staple at many Chicago open-mic nights where he said, "Open-mic nights are the best way to polish and test new material." Through these electric performances, Brian has met quite a few talented musicians, some of whom are now recording with him.
