When VIO-LENCE disbanded in 1994 the remaining members formed the band TORQUE!! The band was fronted by none other than PHIL DEMMEL and rounded off by MARK HERNANDEZ, DEEN DELL and RAY VEGAS. The band played intense live shows for the first year and then released a three song demo. The band was then picked up by the Dutch label Mascot and releaed their debut album "TORQUE". The bands hard hitting heavy songs received rave reviews from all over Europe. They played the DYNAMO festival that year in Holland and tore it up!! The band then hooked up with James Murphy (ex- Death, Obituary, Disincarnate, Cancer, Testament) and released a crushing four song demo. The band parted ways in late 1997

2. TORQUE is a Blues/Metal Band from Wichita Kansas. Outstanding live performers, opened for Soulfly, Primer 55, Prong, HellGoat, Hemlock and many others, throughout the Mid West United States. Two albums released to date. TORQUE - ELDiablo a 5 song EP Released in 2007. TORQUE -HELLS' JUKE JOINT - Released in 2009. All songs recorded, mixed and mastered at Traina Studios in Wichita Kansas.
