Third Kind, Culture refinement engineers RobbenBeatz and Fat Boi came together around the year 2000.. A year later Cef and Dwell team up with them and Third Kind was born. around 2002 they dropped their first EP ( First Encounter ). The EP did well locally and Third Kind started getting notice by the starving Baltimore hip hop scene. While the name Third Kind was still hot they dropped their second EP (Predatorial Editorials) followed by a ton of local and out of state shows. Not only was Third Kind gaining respect for being one of the top underground groups in Baltimore .They also gain recognition for having one of the best live performances in the city. Some of the shows they have performed in were pretty impressive such as the Vans Warped Tour and the Dmc World DJ Championships ,They also shared the stage with a number of recognizable artist such as Little Brother, Kool G Rap, Non Phixion, Immortal Technique, Masta Ace, Q-unique, Freestyle ,Cappadonna , WordsWorth , Akir , Sev Statik, and Comp. And not only hip hop groups ! they also shared the stage with a number of recognizable rock artist.. such as billy idol , cold play , fu fighters , sum 41 and garbage just to name a few. After spending time on the Vans Warped Tour with Non Phixion. Third Kind and Sabac Red started to build a friendship. As their friendship grew Third Kind asked Sabac if he would collaborate with them on their new album. Sabac accepted and gave them a hot 16 bar verse for their first single (everybody knows) off their full lenght l.p. Disaster Relief .. The single was released on November 7, 2005 and rose to number 2 on the national college radio charts Third Kind has also worked with wu tang producer 4th disciple and prodigal sunn of sunz of man..

3. Third Kind is a stoner rock/art rock band from Trondheim, Norway

The underlying feeling of inner disturbance takes a hold of you the second you hear Third Kind. There is no mistake to make, this 5 piece has buried their fingers so deep in the surreal sludge of melancholic anger there is no way their music can come out clean.

Formed in Trondheim, Norway back in 2004, Eskil, Erlend, Snorre and Rune started molding their influences into their own style of stoner/art-rock which ended up with with a 2 song promo and one of the songs released on the "heavy as hell" compilation Burn the Streets, with a world wide release.

While the band started delivering their majestic live performances they simultainiously entered Godt Selskap Studio to record their debut EP "Madre", which recived superb reviews from the international press. This opened a new door for Third Kind, which suddenly found themselves playing all kinds of clubs and festivals, all of this culuminating with the honor of opening a international festival, summer 2005 and the critics giving syncronized kudos to the band for their energic and atmospheric live performances. Right now THIRD KIND is recording on their debut album: PX? and are looking for collobrators to secure its release.
