Formed after the breakup of several local Grand Rapids, MI (USA) bands, Lou Musa (guitar/vocals), Jessie Beveridge (vocals), Chris Cooney (guitar/vocals), Martin Heynen (bass) and Kenny Roberts (drums), The Rockit King quickly proved themselves through live shows and the release of their first disc Day Late & A Dollar Short in July 2003. In January 2005 they entered the studio to begin work on their sophomore release Saddle Up which was released later that fall.
