The Main Drag

An indie rock collective local to Boston, Massachusetts consisting of Matt Boch, Jon Carter, John Drake, and Dan Cardinal. Matt, Jon, and John are also members of the post-punk band Blanks. Their latest album, You are Underwater, was released in December 2009 by RPL Audio. The Main Drag have released three LPs, Simmer in Your Hotseat, Yours as Fast as Mine, and most recently You are Underwater. Like the band's previous album, You are Underwater was also self-recorded and self-released through the band's own imprint, RPL Audio.

They have received much acclaim on the independent music site Garageband.com as well as Salon.com, the latter of which named them the winner of a nationwide unsigned band search. The band continued to recieve more attention when their song A Jagged Gorgeous Winter was included as a playable track on the video game Rock Band 2. The band plans to bring their two latest LPs to Rock Band through the Rock Band Network in early 2010.
