The Grip

A short lived independent band from Long Island. They enjoyed moderate local success in the early'90s. The later iterations of the band evolved from college roommates Gary Bouchard and Alan Ruben. A bridge formed when Trace, the next door neighbor of Alan joined. They formed a band then known as The Way. When Matt Reindl joined the band they became StyleCraft. It was the eventual inclusion of guitarist Bill Burns that completed The Grip in 1990
