TEE-M (Tariq Mirza) grew up in Karachi, Pakistan hearing rock/pop on the short-wave radio, listening to street musicians playing the tunes of the land, and learning to play on a hand-me-down guitar. TEE-M recently completed his first album EARTHIOTIC...songsfromaoneroompalace, which made it's worldwide debut on "Rock 50" internet radio show on WPMD. The CD was reviewed and critiqued live by Bernard Baur (Music Connection) "TEE-M is a very, very solid songwriter...this album is a remarkable achievement", and Mike Stark (author of Black Sabbath: An Oral History) "I'm a huge fan.

TEE-M has just returned from successful tours of Pakistan, the highlight being two concerts at the jam packed Royal Rodale Auditorium in Karachi. The shows were covered in the national daily DAWN. TEE-M was also interviewed and performed on Hum, CNBC AAG, GEO TV and #1 morning radio show on CITY FM89 going nationwide.
In Los Angeles KCRW has started playing TEE-M music and NBC reporter Doug Kriegel interviewed him after his performance at John Lennon's 25th Memorial at Capital Records, where he also lit the first of the twenty-five candles. TEE-M's performance clips were shown on local TV by all the major networks.
TEE-M can also be heard world-wide co-hosting with the legendary Mike Stark on WPMD "TEE-M's UNsigned Music Show" (a genre busting show, where the UNsigned revolution is on), which celebrated its anniversary with fourteen artists performing live (a first in internet radio) and capped off the party with an all-star UNsigned finale of TEE-M's song Aao, Aao, Aao.
TEE-M has toured for Starbucks, and is featured in a short film, The Ultimate Song (according to New York Times, "a real winner") and also includes Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Wayne Kramer (MC5), Tom Morello, Ice T, Steve Earle and others. The film has been shown at Farm Aid and SXSW.
All Access Mag selected TEE-M as Best Male Vocalist, Pop/Alternative and was nominated by the inaugural Southern California Music Awards (SCMA) in the Best Pop Rock category at the historic Warner Grand Theatre.
TEE-M has been selected for Music Connection Magazine's 100 Hottest UNsigned Artists 5 years in a row.
