Tammerlin's music?it's a little bit pop, country, british isles and blues with some tasty world music flavorings. Some have called their sound "folklectic", or perhaps they've just never quite figured out what they want to be when they grow up, but whatever the reason, it works!

With a sound that is a step off the well-beaten path, Tammerlin has garnered praise from critics world-wide. Their innovative performances offer exceptional guitar playing, well-crafted original songs and traditional tunes pulled from the heart of [tagAmerican music.
With six CD releases and 19 years of touring to their credit, they have collaborated in the studio with exceptional musicians including Darol Anger, Joe Craven, Byron House and Longineu Parsons, and they've shared the stage with Doc Watson, Emmylou Harris, Alex Degrassi, Del McCoury and many more.
Tammerlin was among the half dozen artists chosen by the state of Florida to represent Florida artists when the Southern Arts Federation launched its Southern Artistry website www.southernartistry.org/Tammerlin .
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
Tammerlin offers educational programming for school groups, funded in part by the Florida State Touring Program http://www.florida-arts.org/roster/displayArtist.cfm?artist=12. They have been on the artist roster for the Touring Program since 1997.
