Str8-Lace also known as Lance Jackson is an American Rapper born In Tucson AZ, in 1984. Being raised in California from the age of 5, Lace has lived in several different places around the nation. Living in the Mid West ,Chicago ILL until the age of 8. Now He resides in the Bay Area, San Francisco ,California, Therefore, you might guess, his lyrics include a variety of topics, as he flows about everything from street life knowledge, prostitution, corruption, family altercations, All in a form of hip hop.

Str8-lace graduated in 2003 at the age of 19 in Solano County School District, Fairfield adult school, from being kicked out of the Fairfield School District, he had to go to a Vacaville school district, which is 10 miles up the road from fairfield, to better his lifestyle he was going down. Almost going to Juvenile hall to county jail, He then when on and entered College for Music Business at Sacramento City College. He now still attends Sac City college and will be expecting graduating Class of 2014.

Starting at the age of 13 (1997) he wrote his first rap, little that he knew that putting that pen down changed his whole lifestyle forever. Consistently working at the age of 16 in 2000. He then went on to his first Recording Studio, In Vallejo Ca, where he signed a record deal with an Independent record label called Flawless Records, which Str8-Lace recorded his first album titled "Str8 Lace wid it".
