Stockton Helbing

Dallas, TX, based drummer and composer Stockton Helbing has released three solo albums to date. Helbing is a product of the famed Jazz program at the University of North Texas were he first gained prominence as a member of the One O'clock Lab Band. Immediately after finishing school, Helbing was hired by Jazz trumpet legend Maynard Ferguson. Helbing spend four years with Ferguson, with whom he also developed as a music director and producer.

Helbing is an active performer across North America where he often performs with his various groups. In 2012, Helbing became the drummer for Tonight Show legend Doc Severinsen, with whom he can be seen on tour.
