Formed in Gangtok,India some time in July-August 2001, Still Waters started adding respectable laurels to it's list of achievements quite early. After a negligible first onstage appearance at a minor local fest in their hometown, their second gig was straight at the Great Indian Rock-6 Fest in New Delhi. With a "Seen it all, done it all" kind of record to back them up, they showed promise. Major college fest victories, full-length album's release, headlining gigs, T.
appearances, Best Indian Band nominations followed. However, after a year or so of a low-profile existance, Still Waters hit back big time at a reunion concert in Gangtok, on the 22nd of May 2005, followed by it's first "outstaion" gig (since the reunion) at the Unwind Centre's fest, JRO-2005, in Chennai, on the 13th of August 2005. Since then, the band has been performing on stage in many events.
Their album "Such a long time" has been re-released by Green Zone due to popular demand on the internet.
