SKIFFLEDOG

Skiffledog is Hilton Valentine, guitarist from the British Invasion Group, The Animals, most famous for House of the Rising Sun, We Gotta Get Out of this Place, It's My Life, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood and several other top 40 hits in the 60s. Hilton's first solo LP was All In Your Head released by Capital Records in 1969. It's Folk 'N' Skiffle, Mate! released in 2004 is his second solo effort. This latest recording features Valentine on the acoustic guitar and vocals peforming original compositions as well as a couple of skiffle songs that got him started playing when he was a teenager.

Hilton still tours playing with Eric Burdon for most of his gigs as well as perfoming his own solo acoustic shows.
