There are three artists under the name Shannon Roberts. (1) Shannon Roberts - A solo musician from Chicago Illinois. Most famous as the singer and musician in the Chicago band Star, with fellow musicians Theodore Beck, and legendary "Blissrocker" Scott Cortez. Shannon Roberts released three records; Her solo work is a mix of haunting echoed vocals over subtle guitar and percussion. With similar influences from the likes of folk, twee, and shoegaze.

She was born in Hollywood, CA to parents and actors Pamela and Michael D. Roberts best known for his role as "Rooster" in the hit TV show "Barretta".
At the age of three Shannon performed on stage with her parents in the classic production of " A Christmas Carol." Her "Breakout" performance came at six years old playing Peter Pan for the Yamaha Theatre.
Following was over 200 performances with a youth touring troupe, 2 years as a soloist in the "Hollywood Christmas Parade", the Fourth of July celebration at the Rose bowl with Smokey Robinson to name a few.
In the coming years Shannon would go on to perform with such legendary entertainers as: Isaac Hayes, Chaka Khan, Mc Lyte, Doug E. Fresh and Taylor Dayne.
