Sean Hully

Sean Hully b. 1967 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Saxophonist and woodwind player, guitarist and vocalist. Bachelor of Music (Queen's University 1991), Licentiate of Music (classical alto saxophone-Queen's University 1993). Studied jazz on tenor saxophone at Humber College in Toronto with Pat Labarbera, Alex Dean and Brian Lillos from 1995-98. Worked on a cruise ship in the showband orchestra for one year in the Caribbean.

Returned to Canada to write and record his only CD to date called Interaction. Continues to freelance and teach private music lessons. Influences: Paul Simon, Rush, Billy Joel, The Police, Beatles, Hank Mobley, Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson, Junior Walker, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane.
