Upon his arrival in Los Angeles back in the 80s, songwriter/producer Rick Rowan was quickly signed by Barton Music (publishers of many classic songs recorded by Frank Sinatra and others).

Moving to Nashville a few years later, Rick co-wrote with several #1 hit country songwriters. His song "You Did It Again" (co-written with Dave Gillon) was recorded by The Texas Vocal Company and released on RCA Records.

Now back in California, Rick has released LOST AND FOUND, his latest collection of melodic instrumental pop tunes. Written and produced by Rick, it features performances by some of the recording industry's finest session players, including Larry Cohn, Robert Berry, Kevin Harris and Barry Fasman -- studio musicians who have recorded with Bette Midler, Barry Manilow, Burt Bacharach, Julio Igesias, Diana Ross, Billy Joel, George Benson, and many others.

Besides Barton Music, Rick has written for several music publishing companies in the past, including Famous Music, Pride Music, Welk Music, and Chappell Music. Rick now has his own independent publishing company, Colella Songs (ASCAP).

In his spare time, Rick enjoys long walks on the beach and referring to himself in the third person.
