POEM-CEES

The Poem-cees are a Washington, DC based hiphop trio comprised of Black Picasso, dp-naturalaw and DJ Stylus. Their style incorporates complex poetry slam-inspired lyrics, sophisticated musicianship, and messages that are intelligent, thoughtful, and highly original. Style influences from across a wide spectrum, from old-school hiphop through contemporary "underground" sounds, flavored with undertones of everything from rock to jungle to r&b.
