Paul Gold Hit Hollywood, California Hard back in the early 80's. His vocal style and stage performance quickly catapulted him to being one of the best frontmen of the time. His stage antics we legendary. He performed regularly in various bands and projects. It wasn't long until he was contacted by guitar virtuoso Ronny North. The two began to write together and formed the Rock band Forever Young. Forever Young Quickly became one of the top drawing acts on the sunset strip. And Began to tour The United States in Support of their Self entitled Album.
The Songs "Never say goodnight " and " Can't get you out of my mind" Received radio airplay throughout the nation. They broke up in 1992 (or so) And went there separate ways. Ronny North Continued to create a brand of instrumental music while the rest of the guys started the next stage of life. Paul Gold continued to write and even lent his voice for various recordings. In 2005 he began to write his first solo Album entitled "A place in time" The songs are focused on real life experiences Paul has had in the past. This album is a much different direction than the past albums Paul has released in his career. Produced by Jeff Pilson ( Dokken, War and Peace, Dio, Foreignor, along with many others.) These songs have a quality that is hard to come by these days. With subtle hints to the listener about love, life, family, friends and even a spiritual side he set forth to let the world see this side of him. If you get a chance to see him perform these days you will not be disappointed. His charisma hasn't changed...I think he has matured as an artist.
