Nouveau Riche

There are at least 3 groups called Nouveau Riche:(in the order of creation) 1. A rap group from holland Mr. Polska, Steph, Leo, JeBroer, Digitzz & Boaz v/d Beatz 2. Nouveau Riche is a Swedish synthpop duo starring Camilla Brinck and Ulrich Bermsj?. They released the two singles "Oh Lord" and "Hardcore Life" (for these first 2 singles the duo was Ulrich Bermsj? & Dominika Peczynski). Dominika left the group and was replaced by Camilla Brinck in early 2007. The group has since then released the single 'Angels' and the critically acclaimed album 'Pink Trash' in May 2007.

3. Nouveau Riche was a Philadelphia based music group lead by Nikki Jean and Dice Raw. Since their first show at the Kimmel Center with TV on the Radio, Deerhoof, and the Roots, Philadelphia based NOUVEAU RICHE has quickly established itself as one of the most talented bands in the post-genre music scene. Grabbing from a diverse range of influences like the Roots, the Beach Boys, and Sonic Youth, Nouveau Riche bends genres without becoming one of those genre-bending bands. Seamlessly moving through different styles, they show a fearless disregard for conventional musical rules while at the same time remaining accessible and infectiously catchy. Mixing rock, hip hop, indie, and pop, Nouveau Riche is helping to define the post-genre sound. They have since split.
