Namo, a regular at Long Beach's premiere monthly downtempo, hip hop, acid jazz and trip hop spot, The Downbeat Lounge, released his extra long EP "The Beat Book" in 2008. Based on what he spins live, it was only natural the album was full of deep, down-tempo heavy instrumentals, the kind you might need to pop a painkiller to enjoy.
