Mutual Cry formed in the fall of 2004 in Los Angeles, California. They perform for both English and Spanish audiences since all of their original songs are in both languages. Their first live performance was on a well known, Spanish radio station called Super Estrella 107.1. Since then they have played at numerous events. Mutual Cry has already performed extensively at popular bars such as BBKings, The Gig, The Westchester Bar, The Blvd, The Loop, The notable Whisky A Go Go as well as at prestigious night clubs such as the Conga Room.
Their songs talk about happiness, broken heart experiences, addictions, depression, life, and death. Most importantly their songs offer a message of hope. Their name "Mutual Cry," was inspired by the fact that they noted that humans basically have the same cries and needs. Those needs are to be loved, valued, respected and in turn to be able to do the same. Their song lyrics not only express their own personal emotions but human emotions.
