According to Mr.Bugg; ?Hip Hop seems stuck in it's tracks at present. There is a complete loss in momentum because Artists seem fixated on developing a style already formed.? He continues; ?Copying and following trends are two completely different concepts, it is fundamental to take inspiration to keep Hip Hops overall essence, but how is an Artist completely derived of someone else's style developing the industry?

My debut single ?What's Hip Hop?' is how I chose to portray the irony of the state of Hip Hop. I've been aiming to break the mould of UK Hip Hop with my own expression and want to throw different styles of Hip Hop in all directions and hope fans warm to my intentions.?

In the long run however, even if everything about the genre appears to be lacking and the original Hip Hop is lost, they are hoping that with the right Artiste this by no means says that it cannot be revived.
