Martel

Martel have been making music in one form or another for over twenty years, but the current incarnation took shape four years ago from an experimental previous collaboration. We make electronic and acoustic music, varying in style and tempo, from lo-fi electronica, to hard electronic rock, using a variety of sounds, techniques, and instruments. Guitars, keyboards, domestic appliances, motor vehicles - all kinds of sounds discovered, looted, created and shaped. Our genre is our own - we make sounds we like to hear, and get childishly happy when we discover that other people like it also.
