Leep 27 is a 5-piece band from Minnesota. Band members are Jared Lee (vocals, guitars), Rick Blomqvist (guitars, vocals, bass), Steve Moerke (bass), Chad Satre (drums) and Todd Epley (vocals, guitars). The symbolism behind the use of the number 27 is partly a nod to past greats, such as Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones, and Kurt Cobain, who became inspirational legends as they all died at age 27.
