Born June 13, 1967 in Terre Haute, IN. Started playing violin at age 10, drums at age 12, guitar at age 16. Studied Percussion Performance and Composition at UNC-Greensboro from 1987-1991. Jason was the front man of several North Carolina bands in the late '80's and through the 90's including Blue Mongoose, The Hausman Syndicate and more recently godmanradio. Discography includes "Giving Up The Ghost" (Blue Mongoose), Self Titled The Hausman Sydicate and "Hollow" (Jason Hausman).
Jason has shared the stage with Ben Folds Five, Dillon Fence, Fuel, Hootie, Blessed Union of Souls, Don Dixon, Jaimie Hoover, Edwin McCain, Herbie Mann, Larry Coryell and more.
Jason was an audio engineer and General Manager of Jay Howard Production Audio from 1999-2005. In 2005 Jason formed the company Hot Sake (sah-kee) www.hotsake.tv which creates music and sound design for TV, Film, Radio and New Media. Creating work for a myriad of clients ranging from NASCAR, Speed TV, Charlotte, Bobcats, Carmax (Super Bowl Ads), Turner Networks, RayCom Sports and many more.
In 2010, Jason continues to create commercial sound through Hot Sake and is also finishing up a new record entitled "Grey Sky Sparrow" to be released laster this year. Recently Jason joined the band Sunshone Still ( www.sunshonestill.com ) as a multi-intstrumentalist and backup singer.
