Gianluca Attanasio was born in Italy. From 1992 to 1994 he attended the courses of musicology and theatre criticism at Dams University in Bologna. From his latest works we remember the Cd ?Soul of the ocean?, containing 24 soundtracks and ?My first secret?, a solo piano CD in which you can also listen ?Serenata dal cuore? composed on the occasion of His Holiness John Paul 2nd's birthday, and performed in front of His Holiness himself in the Sala Nervi (Vaticano). This pi?ce was played by the Alessandria Classical Orchestra conducted by Mr.
Renato serio. Gianluca graduated in Philosophy at Bologna University.
He attended the Musical Laboratory of Walter Savelli in Florence where he specialized in modern piano and composition. ?Time Music/Aliante Label? and Warner/Chappell Music produced a few CDs of Pop Music composed and interpreted by him, and orchestrated in collaboration with Geoff Westley, Mike Applebaum, Roberto Guarino, Luciano Torani, Francesco Musacco, Walter Savelli, ecc.
In 2005 Gianluca is finalist at the International music-film competition "Musica e Cinema A.F. Lavagnino 2005 " . Gianluca created and carried on a musical project ?Harmonia? with actress Martin Brochard as a singer. For a few years he has been writing music for the theatre, dancing performances and cinema. In 2008 Gianluca is vwinner of prestigious " Fondi La Pastora" theatre -Award (XXXIIIth edition) received in Rome. Best music for "Ak 47", piece by Daniele Scattina and Claudio De Santis.
He is a journalist and a member of the Italian Society of Authors and Publishers. Gianluca attended an intense study of the arts in acting, dance/movement, and vocal training, studying with italian dramaturg and director Eva Franchi, and with Pablo Maximo Taddei.
He has specialized in " Biomusic - Evolving Music Therapy" , attending specialist studies with Dr. Mario Corradini.
