Feltip Pens

"feltip_pens" is solo project by Hisayuki in Japan. Compose,lyric,play(Guitars,Bass,Vocal), programming(Piano, Keyboards, Strings, Drums, Percussion, Sound effects) and mixing are created by him. His music which has elements of Alternative, Orchestral and Electronica is harmony of mix by using audio and sensitive electronic sound, is melancholy and beautiful as like European movies. We think these tunes have very interesting talent, efficacy composition of music theory. Whenever he compose his music, he images some scenes, landscapes, weather, people and so others.

First, some pictures come out into his deep mind. That might be connected with movies he's ever watched, stories he's ever read or his own life. Most of their theme are society, environment, humaneness, life and death. Especially, he feel sympathy with many cases of inequality. Those are birthplace, race, wealth and poverty, and authority. So lyrics he write are contained of his thoughts about them. He said about new album"Slowmomentary". "I used a lot of ideas for creating an atmosphere. I don't like experimental music very much by using some high technology only. I think that expression of emotions are very important. Therefore when I compose a demo music, I create compose, mixing and recording at the same time of a notion of time and space one by one. It is a sense filling up gradually. I think emotions are ever-changing along with time. I'd like to express that." Now "feltip_pens" doesn't play live performance. Because he doesn't have interest about that. But last year, he opened the exhibition as one of artist team "CASI" at Tokyo in Japan. They are consisting of a photographer "Reishi Eguma", a painting artist "Takashi Kondo", a graphic designer "Takamasa Sunami" and a musician "feltip_pens". The exhibition's space was filled with passion of "feltip_pens". As well, on the "Slowmomentary"'s website(www.feltip-pens.com) he and a web designer produced along concept of the album, everyone can listen to all trucks. Please, try to check it out!
