Emulsion

There are at least two artists with this name: A Chicago-based producer and a San Francisco-based duo. Both groups can be categorized somewhere in the genre of experimental electronica. Chicago producer Emulsion (Nathan Koch) was originally known for his dark ambient and industrial experiments on the Death of the Author EP (2003) but after a year hiatus has returned with Blue Sky Objective, an album more in the vein of melodic song-based idm and electro artists like Solvent, Casino vs. Japan, and Ulrich Schnauss.
