Elli Paspala born in New York by Greek parents. She studied in the ' Manhattan School of Music ', from which she took also the diploma ' Bachelor of Arts ', while she took singing courses with the soprano Judith Ruskin and acting with the actor William Hickey. Then took part in concerts in the I.P.A and Canada, as well as in representations of opera, with last attitude the representation ' Medea of ' Gavin Bryars in the New York, in direction Bob Wilson. In Athens she came in 1982 and immediately was established
as basic partner of Manos Hatzidakis up to 1988. After this so much important experience Elli Paspala evolved her artistic identity beginning the personal discography career with the album ''???? ????? ??? ????????? ' (1988). A disk with songs of important foreigner authors, from where was also distinguished the ' Youkali ' that participated in the collection ' EUROPEAN FEMALE FAVORITES' (1990) that circulated exclusively in Japan. The island of "Youkali" leads her to the "???? ??? ????????? " (1990) of Stamou Semsi and Vasili Nikolaidi. One year afterwards this disk was recorded in London with English lyrics of Laurence Roman with the title "LIVING A LIE".
Preferring the direct contact with her public, her artistic career is stamped by many live appearances in Greece and abroad, limiting thus her presence in the discography in attendances of disks of appreciable Greek authors.
