Douglas Greer is an up-and coming Austin-based alt- country singer who launched his debut album, Just a Man, in July 2006. The album, produced by Michael Ramos, features appearances by Ramos (John Mellencamp) on keyboards, accordion and percussion, Mark Hallman (Carole King) on piano and backing vocals, David Grissom (the Dixie Chicks) on lead guitar, Tommy Shannon (Stevie Ray Vaughan) on bass and Michael Longoria (Patty Griffin) on drums.
Since then the album has topped the Euro-Americana charts and has gotten rave reviews:
