Ernest Patrick Paiz/Gtr/Vox/Founder of Buddha Pie is continuously working on solo projects, specifically electronica music for the media markets. Performing in open mics in Brooklyn and the Lower East Side of Manhattan, led to onstage performances at noted venues in and around the city. Performing with former members of Six Iron and 3rd Man Out, the Brooklyn based BUDDHA PIE went through several phases of existence and finally disbanded in the fall of 2003. Arriving back in SALT LAKE CITY in March, 2004, his continued effort to write, record, and perform are non-stop.

Arriving back in SALT LAKE CITY in March, 2004, his continued effort to write, record, and perform are non-stop. Buddha Pie spent the remaining months of 2004 writing and recording. He also continued performing solo sets throughout Salt Lake City.
The Gallivan Center's Lunch Bunch Concerts and Earth Jam Production's EarthJam @ Liberty Park have been a yearly host since arriving back. American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and Utah Arts Festival have also seen Buddha Pie on their stages.
The first album, NEAR THE EDGE, is solely produced and performed by Ernest Patrick Paiz and is available at CDbaby, Verizon, Napster, LaLa, Rhapsody, iTunes, PayPlay, Nimbit, Ilike and myriad of online file sharing and download sites. This first release is being remixed and will soon be available as a remix titled: "NEAR THE EDGE ~ Remixed and Revisited"
