Brently Heilbron is an amazing comedic writer, creator, performer and talent. Brently has been honing his craft in clubs since the age of 14! He has opened for such diverse acts as Daniel Johnston, Rudy Ray ?Dolemite? Moore and MiniKiss.
He has produced and directed cult hits including THE RICHARD SIMMONS MYSTERIES and HOORAY FOR GREGORY PECK'S ASS, both of which received glowing reviews and sold out hoses following tours between New York and Los Angeles. Brently has become a staple at the HBO and Comedy Central Workspaces for new material. His debut CD PHANTOM PARADE OF LOVE, is a thought provoking, hilarious ride through the new era of show biz animals, animatronic entertainers, and an all-out battle royal with the melon-smashing ghost of comedy past.
In addition, Brently has written sexy ukulele music for the German band the Neu Tickles, composing the theme song to the viral hit "Ask A Ninja". Brently's co-written musical "Hooray For Gregory Peck's Ass!" has been called the "solacement of my later years" by the famous dead actor in a recent biography. This is totally true.
He continues to expand his growing fan base through his weekly charity auctions at Amoeba Music where he has helped raise over $150,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Also, his word for word rendition of R. Kelly's epic masterpiece "Trapped in the Closet" raised funds for P-Flag and other charities.
