Bill Bourne & Shannon Johnson

Acoustic guitarist Bill Bourne and fiddler Shannon Johnson recorded two albums of Celtic-influenced folk music in the mid-1990s. Both musicians are from Alberta, Canada. Bourne was previously a member of Scottish folk group The Tannahill Weavers and recorded two albums with piper Alan MacLeod as Bourne and MacLeod (including the Juno award winning "Dance and Celebrate"). Johnson has been performing traditional folk music since the age of eight and is currently a member of The McDades, 2007 Juno award winners for their album Bloom, with her brothers Solon and Jeremiah McDade.
