Dashiell Hedayat aka Jack-Alain L?ger aka Melmoth, born in 1947, is a writer and translated in french books by Bob Dylan (Tarantula), J.R.R. Tolkien (Tom Bombadil) and Leonard Cohen. He recorded two albums "La Devanture des Ivresses" as Melmoth in 1969 and Obsolete as Dashiell Hedayat in 1971 with strong involvement of Gong and William S. Burroughs.
