English bluesman Ian Siegal recorded his sixth album The Skinny (2011) with a backing band (The Youngest Sons) made up of the youngest sons of notable Mississippi bluesmen. The Youngest Sons are: Robert Kimbrough: guitar (youngest son of Junior Kimbrough) Garry Burnside: drums (youngest son of R.L. Burnside) Rodd Bland: bass (youngest son of Bobby Blue Bland) Cody Dickinson: drums/production (youngest son of Jim Dickinson)

The Youngest Sons are:
