Tracie Bennett (born Tracey Anne Bennett, 17 June 1961, in Leigh, Lancashire) is an English stage and television actress. She trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Clapham, London. She has won two Laurence Olivier Awards for her roles in She Loves Me and Hairspray. In February 2010, Bennett took the lead role as Judy Garland in a revival of Peter Quilter's play with music, End of the Rainbow, at Northampton's Royal Theatre. When the production transferred to London, she was nominated for the 2011 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress.
