SIRSY (pronounced "sir - see") is a female-fronted indie pop duo from Albany, New York founded in 1999. The duo consists of Melanie Krahmer (vocals, drums, flute, and "bass with a stick") and Rich Libutti (bass, guitar, and snare & bass with his feet). Playing over 250 shows per year up and down the east coast, Sirsy has played with bands such as Maroon 5, Blues Traveler, Collective Soul, Lifehouse, Cheap Trick, Vertical Horizon, and Fuel.

A typical Sirsy show consists mostly of their own original songs mixed with a few covers of songs by many of their influences, including Fiona Apple, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Ani DiFranco and The Police.
Sirsy has also written theme music for and appeared in promotional spots for Time Warner Cable and the WB Network. They were featured in the award winning independent film Dorian Blues. The band has been voted "Best Band" by the readers of Albany's Metroland for four years running (2003-2006). They are the only unsigned band in the United States to have appeared in Soundscan's Top 10.
They have released several full-length singles and albums, as well as a DVD collection.
