Welcome I'm Michael Clark and I've played sax most of my life. Here's a little history of me and my sax. During high school I played sax for the CORVETTES in Bladensberd Maryland, a 1950's rock and roll band. We played high school and college dances in the Washington, Maryland, and Vinger areas. I experienced this era first hand, so my roots are deep in the 50's and blues sound. After high school I served in the US Army, then moved back to Maryland where I played sax almost every night with the LAMP LIGHTERS.
I'm Michael Clark and I've played sax most of my life.
I then moved to Columbia, SC where I performed with the TIMES at the PIRATE'S COVE as well as LOVE INC, a 13-piece rock band.
The next move was to Jacksonville, FL and a group called The Surf Siders that performed at 90 BY THE SEA. We were a three-piece jazz pop group with sax, drums and keys or B3 organ. For the next 25 years, I lived in Pensacola, FL where I played with a local 50's style band at HAPPY DAYS AGAIN as well as doing some free lance.
I'm currently living in Tallahassee, FL where I work for the State, but I still play the sax. It has always been my first love. I can be found each week at:
