ALF

There are several artists with this name: 1). ALF who are a London based collective. ALF began as the studio project of Nick Chamberlain-Hunt, a musician with a wide background from being a bass player with cult new romantic band Neu Electric on the now collectable Some Bizarre Records to live dub mixer for Baby Fox. His debut album "ALF" revolved around a rotation of friends and associated bands that gigged and jammed together. This set up continued successfully through three more albums "Alongside Frank" and "Cajun Wolf" and "Suicide is the Last Thing On My Mind".

Singer Christine Leach started her recording career on underground club records with tracks on renowned producer William Orbit's label, [Guerrilla Records]. This led to further collaboration and songs on William Orbits' "Strange Cargo" series of ambient albums. At the same time her band Baby Fox began making a name for them selves with two singles of the week in the NME and a couple highly rated albums in a genre that became labelled as trip hop. Then one of the songs that Christine performed live with William Orbit at London Astoria, and at Phoenix Festival called "Ray of Light", suddenly shot into an entirely different universe. William became Madonna's producer and that song became the title track for the Madonna's album ?Ray Of Light?.

The new face of ALF is "Alongside Frank" taken from the title of their second album.

2) ALF is the name of a popular television sitcom series produced by NBC between 1986 and 1990, inspired by and spoofing the movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). It first aired September 22, 1986.
In addition in Germany several radio play tapes were brought out. There was also a 7? and 12? released entitled ?Stuck On Earth? in Germany in 1987.

If you don't listen to the German radio play but the music to the series, the tags should be changed. The music to the series is created by Alf Clausen & Tom Kramer and tags should be changed accordingly.

3) Alf is a Swedish musician from Sk?ne, Sweden accompanying his vocals with guitar. His real name is Alf H?kan ?kesson, he is named after the famous Extra-Terrestrial "ALF".

4) Pop band with origins in the Dominican Republic formed by bass player, and then lead singer, Beto. Their first single was an initial version of their song, "Se como jugar". Originally, the letters in their name stood for the Dominican saying, "A lo Focker". However, this was later changed to "Among Lost Feelings" in early 2005, along with the addition of Pedro Alegria as a lead singer. Beto and Alegria met during a fist-fight with "Jevitos", or the Dominican version of the preppy stereotype. The addition of Pedro Alegria not only brought along the change of name, but also a re-mastered version of their original single, along with a cleaner sound. They've released a total of two full albums, and are currently on hiatus.
