There are at least seven artists using the name LEMON: 1. They pioneered the U.K. lounge, cabaret and burlesque scenes, before setting up the label Club Montepulciano Recordings, through which they released a series of influential compilations (including the 'Bongo Beach' series and 'Showgirls and Sugardaddies'), the debut Lemon - Fresh! EP and Lemon:Up! album, a string of sold-out 7" singles, EPs and the work of various other acts.
In 2005 Nick launched the new label Freshly Squeezed Music. Amongst their first releases was Lemon's second full-length With a Twist.
Tracks from Lemon have been licensed to numerous compilations worldwide and can be heard in adverts internationally. Lemon songs also appear on the soundtracks and trailers to many Hollywood movies including Knocked Up, The Heartbreak Kid, License To Wed, Wild Hogs (all in 2007!) and frequently crop up on TV series including several tracks in the hit show Ugly Betty.
2. Lemon is a Belgian band from Bruges. They started in 1999 and have been compared to Coldplay and Radiohead. Their first cd Magnetic came out in 2003. In the same year they played Belgium's major Rock Werchter fetsival Their music (notably Stay With Me) was used for a Flemish television series called ?Kinderen Van Dewindt'.
The second album Endless Days was released in 2008.
3. Lemon (sometimes cyrillizied as ?????) is a Russian-German euro-dance group founded in 1994.
4. Lemon is an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based indie rock band that started in the 1990s and is heavily influenced by the 'Madchester sound'. They self-released three full-length albums: Wallpaper, Hey... and NEDchester. The latter was released in 2011.
5. Lemon was a Finnish band (1969-1974) best known for its Finnish Uriah Heep cover, Nainen tummissa ('Lady in Black').
6. Lemon was an American disco/funk band from the 1970s.
7. Lemon is a New York City-based electro/"blue-eyed soul" group, made up of vocalist and songwriter Roger Smith, and Danish producer Thor Madsen. They met in the 1990s and began working as "Lemon" by the early 2000s.
